2022 Career Night At the Ball Park

We held our 2nd Annual “Career Night at the Ballpark” on July 20th. Working with the Sioux Falls Canaries our goal was to highlight the excellent technical programs that our state has to offer along with the excellent career paths that they can provide for young adults. We were able to have one representative from each of the Eastern South Dakota tech schools throw out the first pitch:

Mitchell Tech – Scott Fossum – VP of Operations and HR

Lake Area Tech – Shane Swenson – Director of Outreach

Southeast Tech – Matthew Haynes – Construction Management Instructor

The goal of the event is to raise awareness for the programs that these schools offer and show students the excellent career paths that the energy industry can provide them. Thank you to all the supporting businesses who were able to attend and visit with students and their parents about some of the career paths they are able to provide from these technical programs. It was a great event and we look forward to continue growing the event in the coming years.
